When it comes to patient care, Nurse Practitioner Melissa Keesee’s approach is simple: provide the best quality care equally to all who she comes in contact with and make a lasting impact on each patient’s life. She works in conjunction with Dr. Abraham and the other Physicians and APRNs of Advanced Interventional Pain Management.
Melissa started out as a registered nurse in 1993 after graduating from the University of Central Arkansas with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. After spending time developing her nursing career and raising her three children, Melissa graduated from Walden University with honors in 2020 with a Master’s of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Keesee is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, American/Arkansas Nurses Association, and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Her focus is ensuring the patients of Advanced Interventional Pain Management feel confident in her care while knowing she will listen attentively to each patient’s needs.
Prior to Pain Management, Melissa has dedicated her career to help patients manage their acute and chronic pain holistically while working primarily in hospice and labor and delivery.
Outside of the Clinic she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending quality time with her friends and family.
