Debra Barker is a family nurse practitioner who is board certified by the American Nurse Credentialing Center. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Louisiana-Monroe in 1980 and later attended Mississippi University for Women where she received a Master of Science in Nursing in 2009. Debra has experience as a RN in various settings including Critical Care, Neurosurgery, and in Nursing management.  As a Nurse Practitioner, she worked for many years in Pulmonary Medicine and later enjoyed providing care to patients in a Family Practice setting. Debra remembers that "nursing is really the only thing I have ever wanted to do." She enjoys her patients and always wants them to leave her feeling a little better than when they arrived. Melissa Keesee, APRN

When it comes to patient care, Nurse Practitioner Melissa Keesee's approach is simple: provide the best quality care equally to all who she comes in contact with and make a lasting impact on each patient's life. She works in conjunction with Dr. Abraham and the other Physicians and APRNs of Advanced Interventional Pain Management. Melissa started out as a registered nurse in 1993 after graduating from the University of Central Arkansas with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing.  After spending time developing her nursing career and raising her three children, Melissa graduated from Walden University with honors in 2020 with a Master’s of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Keesee is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, American/Arkansas Nurses Association, and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Annie Sparks, PA-C

Born and raised in Texarkana, Texas, Annie Sparks graduated from Texas High School, received her bachelors of science in Biology from the University of Washington, Masters in Medical Science and Molecular Medicine from Liberty University, and Masters of Physician Assistant Studies from South College. She brings a holistic approach to pain management with individualized and compassionate care, treating patients like family. She and her husband Matt moved back to the Texarkana area with their son where they enjoy exploring what Texarkana and the surrounding areas have to offer.

About Peggy Wren, APRN

Peggy Wren, APRN, MSN, FNP-C, is a family nurse practitioner who is board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She is proud to provide compassionate care to patients at Advanced Interventional Pain Management, with locations in Hot Springs, Little Rock, Texarkana, El Dorado, Arkadelphia, and Mena, Arkansas. Peggy is currently licensed to practice in the state of Arkansas and has special interests in family care and pain management. She graduated from the University of Kansas in Lawrence with a Bachelor of Science in nursing and obtained a Master of Science in nursing in family practice from Chamberlain College of Nursing in Downers Grove, Illinois. Her previous experience includes a strong background working in primary and critical care nursing. About Dr. Stuckey

Ryan V. Stuckey MD is an Anesthesiologist with subspecialty training in interventional pain management. Dr. Stuckey grew up in Bryant, Arkansas and completed his undergraduate training at Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. He later earned his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). After graduating from medical school he stayed at UAMS to complete his residency in Anesthesiology, serving as chief resident his final year. After residency he then went on to complete a chronic pain fellowship at the University of North Carolina. At Advanced Interventional Pain Management, Dr. Stuckey’s treatment goal is to reduce pain and improve functional capacity utilizing minimally invasive fluoroscopic-guided procedures in order to decrease reliance on medication. Anesthesiologist and pain management physician, Jacob E. Abraham, MD, is the founder of Advanced Interventional Pain Management, with locations in Hot Springs, Little Rock, Texarkana, El Dorado, Arkadelphia, and Mena, Arkansas. Dr. Abraham grew up in Georgia, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in microbiology at the University of Georgia in Athens. He then obtained his medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. Afterward, he completed his training in anesthesiology and pain management at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Abraham moved to Arkansas in the mid-1990s and has been practicing pain management in the Hot Springs area since 1996. His area of specialty focuses on minimally invasive, nonsurgical procedures performed under X-ray guidance to reduce patients’ chronic spine-related pain.
