Kayla Harrod is a family nurse practitioner. Described as incredibly caring and friendly by her patients, Kayla is committed to listening to their thoughts and concerns and helping patients understand their treatment plan. She enjoys having an impact on her patients’ recovery and health progression.
Kayla began her nursing career in the Arkansas Heart Hospital Emergency Room after studying at Baptist Health in Little Rock to become a registered nurse. She previously worked in cardiology and electrophysiology before practicing Interventional Pain.
She received a bachelor’s degree in nursing with summa cum laude distinction from Walden University and earned a Master of Science in nursing and family nurse practitioner certification from University of Central Arkansas with a 4.0 GPA. She is a member of the Arkansas Nurse Practitioner Association. Kayla also enjoys spending time with her family, hunting, and calling those Hogs!
